My story - I am a recorder player and, in addition to early music, I mainly devote myself to contemporary music, as well as free improvisation and new concert formats. I regularly present concerts and workshops worldwide. As a former founding member of the recorder quartet QNG - Quartet New Generation, I have performed as soloist, in various chamber music formations, as well as in the context of various productions in the realm of fine arts, opera and theatre, among others Saâdane Afif, Ari Benjamin Meyers, andcompany&Co, Constanza Macras/dorkypark, and Opera Lab Berlin. Since the beginning of my studies in Amsterdam I performed numerous premieres in world class concert houses and festivals, with such groups as Ensemble Adapter, Figura Ensemble, Ictus Ensemble, Marc Sinan Company, and Trickster Orchestra. I have been awarded international honors and scholarships in Berlin, Darmstadt, Graz, Krakow, New York, and Rotterdam. I have lived and taught in Berlin from 2004 and have held a teaching position at the Berlin University of the Arts since April 2010. In September 2019 I released my solo debut album "21" with the Austrian label Orlando Records. In October 2019 I completed my artistic-academic research project at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz with distinction. |
